Our name is a tribute to the generations of lumber workers who helped build communities across Newfoundland’s Northern Peninsula. Forestry has long been part of life here, and we’re proud to carry that history forward through a place rooted in hard work, hospitality, and homegrown tradition.
Owned and operated by Meryl and Bernard Carroll, we welcome travellers from around the world to enjoy homestyle meals, cozy guest suites, and a true taste of rural Newfoundland. Whether you’re travelling the Viking Trail, hiking the coastline, or simply passing through, we’re proud to offer a warm place to stay, dine, and slow down for a while.
